About the role
We have a rare opportunity for a full-time permanent Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic maintenance team, to ensure effective operations, pristine amenities and safe facilities at Coral Sea Marina.
As Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for:
Performing daily and preventive maintenance within designated timeframes and adhering to the highest quality standards at Coral Sea Marina and its associated facilities.
Documenting all maintenance requests and completed tasks, while also maintaining property inventories to ensure accountability for all landscaping and maintenance equipment in good condition.
Maintaining the pristine and safe condition of marina grounds by promptly addressing any damages, replacing or repairing items, and addressing health and safety concerns.
Proactively reporting hazards, injuries, or incidents, and mitigating risks whenever possible, including assisting in emergencies.
Ensuring the safe handling of equipment, pesticides, fertilizers, and chemicals in accordance with standard operating procedures.
To be considered for the position of Maintenance Officer, you are required to have:
Open C Class Drivers License
Proven track record in an active role, preferably with expertise in building, grounds, and/or water maintenance.
Proficiency in operating various small machinery and equipment.
Capability to recognise problem areas and utilise initiative and effective communication to address them.
Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude.
Capacity to work autonomously with a focus on finding solutions.
