Your Impact: As a Maintenance Officer at Macarthur Gardens Retirement Village, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and happiness of our beloved residents.

From addressing maintenance requests promptly to conducting thorough audits for safety, your work will make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
Why You'll Love This Role: Dynamic Environment: Dive into diverse tasks that keep you on your toes every day, including driving the village courtesy bus when needed (C license required for vehicles seating up to 12 adults).
Diverse Tasks: Engage in a wide array of maintenance duties, from implementing the Preventative Maintenance Plan to tackling indoor and outdoor projects.
Variety: Enjoy the versatility of your responsibilities, whether you're replacing washers or ensuring facilities are in top-notch condition, all contributing to resident comfort and satisfaction.

We're Looking For: Maintenance Experience: Previous experience preferred, ideally in retirement village, aged care, or community settings.
Independence and Initiative: Ability to work autonomously, exercising discretion and initiative in duties.
Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to engage with residents and colleagues.
Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills.
Driver's License: Valid license required, along with passing a National Police check.
Additional Certificates: Test and Tag certificate and First Aid/Resuscitation Certificate preferred but not essential.
