Role Overview:
As our Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible to drive strategic changes to minimize downtime, optimize equipment lifecycle and ensure ongoing plant reliability. This includes managing and recommending continuous improvement initiatives, lead and managing engineering projects – including technical documentation, effective budgeting and CAPEX management. You'll work closely with a supportive team and lead exciting projects that shape the future of our industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end to end maintenance activities effectively and efficiently, to meet business requirements.
Develop and implement accurate data management, BOMs and SAP data capture.
Responsible for all maintenance related financials, including forecast, budget and controlling cost & expenditure.
Liaise with other departments to identify key issues affecting line performance and propose solution and execute actions to rectify the issues.
Control and update all drawings, including but not limited to PID, PFD, layout and shop floor drawings.
Drive a strong safety culture at work.
What We're Looking For:
A Bachelor of Engineering degree or a trade qualification with the relevant experience.
At least 5 years' experience in maintenance management, ideally within the unionized construction or manufacturing industry.
Strong technical skills and the ability to trouble shoot.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for building and nurturing stakeholder relationships.
A strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
A proactive and motivated approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
A passion for creating positive stakeholder experiences and achieving outstanding results.
