Maintenance Manager

Meet your new client
Our client is a privately owned, leading food manufacturer and supplier of fresh poultry and prepared food solutions. Our client is also one of Australia's largest producers of poultry covering every stage from the farm to the plate.
Our client is going through a significant growth phase and we are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our client based in Bannockburn, Geelong. Permanent role starting at $110k plus Super (pending experience).
The Role
As a Maintenance Manager, you will provide support to the Operations Manager and Production team by providing quality and efficient maintenance services during planned maintenance, breakdowns, and the installation of new plant and equipment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
Strong commitment to identify and drive continuous improvement
A demonstrated commitment to health and safety
Ability to drive positive change as well as influence and support
Proven fault-finding skills and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
Understanding of HACCP, GMP and Australian Standards
Ability to execute and adhere to Preventative Maintenance programs
Ability to utilize a computer-based Maintenance management system
Control costs, scheduling & development of maintenance activities (desirable)

Relevant Trade Qualifications & Experience:

Relevant Mechanical trade qualifications
Forklift license, EWP license (desirable)
Fabrication Skills, MIG, TIG and ARC welding (desirable)
