We are seeking a talented Maintenance Manager to join our Deeside Site.ResponsibilitiesEnforcement of safe work systems and accountability for health and safety performance among subordinates and contractorsProvision of safe equipment, a safe working environment, and the necessary personal protective equipment for all employees and contractorsAssurance that employees are adequately informed, instructed, trained, and supervised to safely perform their dutiesCommitment to zero injuries by maintaining a safe environment, investigating incidents, and implementing appropriate countermeasuresInterpretation and application of departmental policies, procedures, laws, and regulations to ensure complianceManagement of maintenance schedules, quality initiatives, safety targets, and operational metrics to meet organizational goalsSupervision of staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions as necessaryPromotion of continuous improvement, efficient resource use, safety, quality, and high performance through policy development and budget controlQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent education and experienceKnowledge of ATEX/DSEAR, SEVESO/COMAH regulations, and relevant health and safety legislationExperience in managing change within diverse environments and building strong relationshipsSkills in interpersonal communication, influencing, coaching, negotiating, and team coordinationAbility to analyse data, develop proposals, and demonstrate strong business acumenProficiency in advanced PC skills, financial and commercial awareness, and project managementCommitment to continuous improvement, strong teamwork, and professional work ethicsFocus on customer satisfaction and a hands-on approach to tasksEnthusiasm for developing others and fostering a positive and productive work environmentOur offer...Work life balanceCompetitive compensation programmeBonus planCareer growth opportunities in a truly international environmentInnovation leaders in the protective coatings industrySherwin Academy offers continuous training programmes for all seniority levelsAttractive wellbeing, mental health, women & inclusion and ID&E programmesPlease note that Sherwin Williams is unable to respond to any enquiries, accept CVs or applications from Recruitment Agencies.About UsHere, we believe there's not one path to success, we believe in careers that grow with you.
