We are currently seeking a Duty Technician at Australia's Favourite Family Resort.
This is a causal position and has a rotating roster including weekends.
This is a key role within the Resort where you will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment for all staff and guests.
Our guest facilities include the biggest Aqua Play Water Park in a resort in the southern hemisphere, Planet Chill Ice Rink, Kids Club and much more!
As a Duty Technician, you will be responsible for the following: Undertake general maintenance and repair work, such as plumbing, plastering, painting, carpentry, aircon maintenance and much more (no two days are the same!
)Collaborate with our Housekeeping and Front Office teams in responding to our guest maintenance related concerns.Conduct routine inspections to ensure all required maintenance and repairs are attended to.Help maintain a clean and tidy environment within the resort.Assist with maintenance related projects within the resort.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Previous maintenance or handyperson experiencePrevious trade qualified background is advantageous but not essentialBe able to work a rotating roster; including days, evenings, weekends and Public Holidays.Has experience in a Resort environment (advantageous)Organised & executes tasks effectively and efficiently.Positive attitude & passionate about delivering exceptional service!Has the ability to work both autonomously and within a team.CULTURE & BENEFITS: At Paradise Resort, we believe our employees are an essential element in the successful delivery of an incredibly fun, energetic & memorable experience for our guests and their families which will be talked about for years to come.
