Maintenance Handyperson - AIRLIE BEACH WHITSUNDAYSOur properties provide an idyllic escape in a relaxed atmosphere, whilst offering all the special touches you would expect from a hotel group. We are a progressive, innovative, Australian, and privately owned hotel management company specialising in strata titled apartment hotel management, currently managing eight properties in Airlie Beach.
The Role We are currently seeking an energetic, customer-focused, and experienced Maintenance Handyperson. Working closely with the Guest Services Managers, housekeeping, and reception teams, you will be responsible for ensuring well-maintained rooms and public areas. The ability to work on weekends is a must; local residents are highly regarded.
Duties and Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day general maintenance duties within the hotel rooms and public areasRespond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency callsMaintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in proper conditionEnsure our high-quality standards are maintainedDemonstrate exceptional customer service when engaging with guestsThe successful candidate will have: Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a hotelExcellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skillsAbility to work without close supervision and within established timeframesStrong work ethicAffordable Accommodation Affordable accommodation can be included in this role.
