You will undertake a variety of tasks ranging from providing technical support to assisting with machinery servicing and repairs. You will work on a range of high-speed food manufacturing equipment including flow wrappers, doy pack machines, and conveyors in a positive and collaborative work environment.
Reporting to the Reliability Manager, the Maintenance Fitter plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of plant equipment. You will work on the Afternoon Shift, working from 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities would include but are not limited to: Assist in the day-to-day efficient running of Plant Equipment.Maintenance of plant equipment (i.e., preventative maintenance).Diagnostics and fault finding.Process improvement of plant equipment.Using MEX Maintenance Software to update work orders.Provide technical support to the production team.Promote and adhere to Quality, OHS, GMP, and HACCP guidelines.About you: Trade Qualified with a minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a similar role in Food Manufacturing.Hands-on with an enthusiastic attitude.Work autonomously and be a self-starter to be a part of an engaged team.Welding experience is desirable.Attention to detail with a high level of ethics and integrity.Take ownership of areas of responsibility, be proactive, self-motivated.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across the business.If this sounds like you APPLY NOW!
