No two days are the same working across the Sirocco and Zanzibar properties, which comprise of two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses with spacious balconies and panoramic ocean views, seasonally heated pool and spa, sundeck, BBQ area, and gym.PurposeAs Maintenance Assistant, you will be the master of all trades, prepared to take on any maintenance, repair, paint job or improvement challenge that may arise. You possess the ability to spot issues before they escalate and you skilfully employ your handy tools to address a diverse range of tasks, ensuring the property remains in impeccable condition.48 hours per fortnight, additional hours are available completing scheduled maintenance.Permanent/Part-time Rate of $25.80, Saturday $32.25, Sunday $38.70, P/H $58.05.Primary ResponsibilitiesTake charge of ensuring that all rooms, amenities, and communal spaces within the property are well-maintained and in excellent condition.Collaborate with a diverse team, requiring both a cooperative mindset and the ability to work independently.Encounter stimulating challenges that require innovative solutions.Be thoroughly trained and provided information on how to progress in your field.Skills and ExperiencePrevious maintenance experience is not essential however favourable, all on-site training is provided.Comfortable in a physical role, have a get-up-and-go attitude and be someone who won't stop until the job is completed in a safe and presentable manner.Prior experience in property maintenance and familiarity with preventative maintenance programs is a plus.Confident in communicating effectively at all levels, from the General Manager, Maintenance Supervisor to guests and contractors working onsite.Capable of embracing a fixed rotating schedule, 3 days per week, alternating weekends, (including public holidays), 9:00am – 5:30pm, (including 30 min lunch break).At Accor, we welcome you as you are.
