Maintenance and Handyman to commence in January 2025 – Full-time (1.0 FTE) We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance and Handyperson to join our team.
The successful candidate will assist with the general upkeep and maintenance of the school grounds and facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Proven experience in maintenance and/or handyman roles. General skills in painting, carpentry, property maintenance and general repairs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Applicants will be required to: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including property maintenance, carpentry, painting and complete projects as assigned. Report any identified maintenance needs. Repair and maintain College equipment and fixtures. Assist with setting up and dismantling for school events and activities. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Collaborate with the Senior Ground/Maintenance person to prioritise and plan maintenance tasks and projects. Additional Requirements: You have relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience. Moderate level of computer competence. All applicants are required to attain and maintain Working with Children Check clearance. You are required to provide a current Police Clearance report (no older than three months). You will be expected to complete a Child Safety course as part of the induction process if you have not already done so. You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia). Excited by the possibilities?
