Visy began manufacturing corrugated cardboard boxes in Melbourne, Australia, in 1948 and has grown to become one of the world's leading privately owned packaging, paper and recycling companies. - Operate machinery to meet production, service, and quality standards.
- Act as Operator in their absence, managing crew and machine setup.
- Assist in machine setup, dismantling, and maintenance.
- Inspect and ensure suitability of die forms, stereos, and inks.

**Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to**:

- Contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and the team
- Operating production machines and associated equipment for the manufacture of cardboard packaging
- Assist with job changes and associated tasks
- Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers
- Housekeeping duties and any other ad hoc tasks required as part of a site production team

- To be successful in this role you will have to be able to operate in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment.
- You will be fit and healthy.
- Have strong interpersonal skills (clear communication, self-confidence, teamwork and collaboration),
- The ability to work under pressure and display a good eye for detail particularly in quality control.
- Most importantly is your attitude, you'll be performance driven, be adaptable to changes in the workplace and be keen to learn new skills, processes, and procedures.
- You'll ideally have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment and hands on experience operating machines.
