They have a remarkable culture and business model, and as their M&A Manager, you will play a pivotal role in their Head Office.This is your opportunity to grow into a Head of M&A role over the next 24 months, and build real, long-term wealth and equity in a large privately held business.The RoleReporting to the Head of M&A, the M&A Manager will lead the end-to-end process of mergers and acquisitions, from deal origination and due diligence to negotiation, execution, and post-merger integration. This role involves identifying strategic acquisition targets, conducting financial analysis, managing transaction structures, and ensuring successful integration to achieve synergies. The M&A Manager will also coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive value creation and support growth initiatives.Duties will include, but not be limited to:Identify acquisition targets aligned with strategic goals.Conduct industry research and build a pipeline of opportunities.Develop and present acquisition strategies to senior management.Initial Assessment & ValuationPerform preliminary due diligence and financial analysis.Build financial models using DCF, comparables, etc.Assess risks, synergies, and deal structures.Coordinate due diligence across finance, legal, tax, and operations.Analyse financial statements, contracts, and operational data.Deal Structuring & NegotiationDevelop optimal transaction structures.Draft and negotiate term sheets, LOIs, and contracts.Collaborate with legal teams on agreement drafting.Financial & Strategic AnalysisAssess synergies, integration risks, and value creation.Prepare financial projections and scenario analyses.Present findings to senior executives and the board.Create investment memorandums for internal approvals.Collaborate on deal financing (debt, equity).Secure board and shareholder approvals.Manage end-to-end transaction process.Oversee agreement finalization and closing procedures.Resolve issues and ensure smooth settlement.Develop integration plans to realize synergies.Support finance, HR, and systems integration.Monitor post-acquisition performance and KPIs.Stakeholder CommunicationUpdate senior leadership and investors on deal progress.Ensure confidentiality and regulatory compliance.Deliver post-deal reviews and performance assessments.Skills and ExperienceA Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Commerce.Strong understanding of the basics in M&A, corporate finance, and corporate development.Confidence and ability to sit in a room full of executives and hold your own, challenge them, and present information.Detail oriented, ability to handle stress and multiple tasks at once, process driven.Practical experience partnering business operational teams.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Ability to prioritise and manage competing workloads and priorities.Ability to maintain excellent working relationships.Collaborative team player.Adaptability and flexibility to changing work environments and requirements.What's on OfferOpportunity to grow into a Head of M&A position.Have a seat at the table and work closely with senior executives of the business.A diverse, dynamic, collaborative and fast paced environment where your ideas are valued and encouraged.Amazing team culture and working environment with exceptional leaders at the helm.Apply NowDon't delay.
