Your Role

This role is responsible for managing business measures that impact Lump Sum Benefits. You will be able to demonstrate strong business acumen to achieve outcomes against performance measures. You will also be responsible for coaching our business in identifying appropriate medical information and evidence to support our customers access to Lump Sum Benefits. Your role will also require you to Act as a technical support and subject matter expert to internal stakeholders including our customer facing staff in which will include providing support for potential serious injury claims and discussions.
You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following:
Develop, monitor and action Tableau reporting relevant to early identifications of claims likely to have a Lump Sum entitlement.
Provide high quality customer service to all areas of the business by acting as the subject matter expert for Impairment Assessment Guidelines, pre-requisite requirements for high risk surgeries, Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI), Lump Sum entitlements, Whole Person Impairment and Serious Injury
Attend case conferences and file reviews with internal and external stakeholders
Continuously identify areas for improvement in relation to early referral to the IB team
Meet performance targets whilst maintaining compliance with relevant Acts, RTWSA Claims Operational Guidelines, Gallagher Bassett policies, procedures and controls
Undertake reviews of claims and provide support and education to various stakeholders and
Present KPI Results and be able to review and propose future targets
Develop and facilitate training using various platforms (web-ex), power point to all areas of the business
Work closely with all staff to provide guidance and support for our customers to progress their lump sum assessments and possible serious injury applications. Using negotiating and influencing skills to influence stakeholders to achieve mutual targets.

We're interested in hearing from people who possess:
Experience with complex and high risk claims that impact the RTW Scheme
Be capable of developing strategies to manage business KPI's
Strong understanding and interpretation of medical terminology
Developed technical knowledge regarding claims strategies and determinations
Demonstrated ability to interpret, apply and coach legislation and case law handed down
Demonstrated claims management experience with Serious Injury and Lump Sum Benefits
Strong, independent drive and accountability
Proactive approach and organisation skills to challenges as they present
Ability to build strong business relationships and ability to influence changes.
