Logistics Support Officer

Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Logistics Support Officer based in our office in Newstead. This position provides logistic support to facilitate the packing and transportation of containers from warehouse to port. This is a fixed term one-year role.
Responsibilities:
Create warehouse packing orders
Prepare and lodge EDN and request for permit applications
Facilitate booking truck transportation
Liaise with shipping lines for booking and container releases
Process contracts and ensure accuracy and compliance
Provide assistance for data entry of export information via in-house program
Attributes and skills:
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Positive attitude with ability to collaborate in a team environment
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Previous administration experience
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced position
Experience:
Understanding and knowledge of export documentation
