Parklife Metro have a great career opportunity available for M&E Supervisors to come onboard and play a critical role in the successful execution of the SSTOM project.
The Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the electrical & mechanical activities within Linewide on the project.
Employed by Webuild, the role on offer is a full-time role based on-site across the alignment.
Primary location may be Badgerys Creek or Luddenham.
This is an ideal next step opportunity for someone who has a strong background in M&E, particularly for someone that has worked on a Sydney Metro project before.
Responsibilities: Managing a team on-site to achieve project objectives.Ensure compliance with site health, safety, and environmental policy.Ensure adequate resources are in place to execute work.Oversight and coordination of Electrical and Controls subcontractor activities.Drive a collaborative and continuous improvement culture.Collaborate with the planning function to optimise the plan to ensure successful execution and programming of daily construction activities.Lead review of progress in productivity and achievement of commercial requirements.Identify maintenance problems and resolve daily administrative issues.Ensure alignment of maintenance and production objectives.Contribute to the contract review process and ensure effective implementation of project management systems and procedures.Interpreting work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.Provide technical guidance and support to the team and implement effective solutions.Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering, Operations, and Safety, to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems within the overall project framework.Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs for M&E staff, focusing on skill enhancement and knowledge transfer.Supervise and maintain relationships with subcontractors, focusing on providing support, proper guidelines, and inputs to adhere to and comply with the scope of work.Criteria: Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a railway or large-scale infrastructure project.Strong knowledge of M&E systems, machinery, and equipment including but not limited to earth moving, lifting, hydraulic, pneumatic, concrete, drilling, rolling stock, and other plant and equipment used in construction.Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and manuals.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.Sound understanding of safety regulations and protocols in a construction and railway environment.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.Proficiency in computer applications related to maintenance management and reporting.What's next?
