Salary: $30.14 per hour + Saturday penalty rates
Location: Working across 3 libraries in Capel, Boyanup and Dalyellup
The Shire of Capel Library network is the HEART of our community where all are welcome to learn, create and connect. We are seeking an engaged all-rounder with strong customer focus and technical proficiency to deliver an inclusive library service to our community!
As a part-time Library Officer, you will act as a first point of contact and assist with customer enquiries. You will issue and discharge library materials, receipt monies, facilitate venue bookings in consultation with the Customer Service team, as well as maintain library membership records. Your proficiency with IT and patient, friendly approach will be essential for supporting our customers in accessing and navigating a variety of online services. You will also support the wider library team by assisting with the preparation and delivery of various library activities and programs to promote life-long learning, including Rhymetime and Storytime.

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:

Working With Children Check Drivers Licence Knowledge of SLWA operations, experience with public libraries and the use of Library Management Systems will be highly regarded.
