You will share your knowledge and expertise to develop the capabilities of the wider claims teams.
The position is diverse, and includes the following key elements: Manage a portfolio of technical claims, ensuring a "Concierge" claims service on every claim Undertake Broker and Strata Manager claims reviews Optimise claims timeframes via proactive management, vendor engagements and delivery against KPI's Ensure quality claims outcomes with strict adherence to company procedures and standards Support wider team with liability related advice and technical support Keep up to date of any legislative changes and ensure compliance to industry regulations The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience: Graduate Diploma in Law (or equivalent tertiary qualification) Prior experience (ideally 2 years plus) of liability claims handling (public liability, office bearer, legal defense expenses) Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills, coupled with time management and attention to detail Experience working alongside lawyers and other technical experts Able to apply critical and analytical thinking style to resolve problems Strong verbal and written communication skills Our commitment to you At the heart of CHU's company culture is recognition of the value our team members bring to the workplace through their individual backgrounds, culture, strengths, creativity, ideas, shared experiences and access to a flexible work environment.
