About You: You must be admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland or hold (or be eligible for immediate acquisition of) a current Practising Certificate and be admitted as a Legal Practitioner or Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Australian High Court.
You should demonstrate a high level of professional service and capacity across a wide range of Family and Civil Law proceedings (including casework relating to Child Protection (after training) and Domestic Violence applications; plus, casework relating to Civil Litigation generally, such as Anti-discrimination matters, Estates, and Consumer Protection type matters).
Ideally, you will have a minimum of two years of full-time experience, resilience in handling complex cases, and the ability to develop culturally competent service skills.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will engage directly with clients daily, honing your advocacy skills within a busy team.
