About the Role
Due to a period of Parental Leave, an exciting opportunity exists for a Lawyer who has 4-6 years PAE to join the in-house Legal and Company Secretarial Team on a 12-month contract. We encourage applications from those looking for full-time, part-time, or flexible hours.
This varied generalist role includes providing advice across several areas of practice including commercial agreements, technology agreements, consumer law, finance, regulatory compliance, privacy, intellectual property, and corporate law.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Providing high-quality legal advice to Harvey Norman Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries (the
Company ).
Providing leadership, supervision, and mentoring to junior team members.
About You
Priding yourself on your ability to communicate exceptionally, honesty and integrity, ability to maintain strong commercial relationships, and your attention to detail, you will also:
Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and work autonomously.
Have a current, unrestricted NSW Practicing Certificate or eligibility to acquire one.
Have experience in an in-house capacity.
Be capable of taking ownership of matters and be innovative and practical in your approach.
Be ambitious, self-aware, proactive, and able to work effectively within a team.
