This position will assist in navigating the complexities of education regulation, ensuring compliance and advocating for best practice.The position reports to a Senior Legal Counsel and provides plenty of senior stakeholder engagement and interaction, as well as the opportunity to contribute to critical projects that influence educational policies and enhance student outcomes.The successful candidate will be a commercially focused lawyer with a minimum of 2 years' PQE from a well-regarded commercial practice or in-house environment, together with experience advising on regulatory issues. We are particularly interested to hear from those with experience advising on regulatory issues within the higher education sector; those without sector experience will also be considered.Key responsibilitiesProvide advice and guidance on regulatory mattersProvide legal and strategic advice and supportAdvise on, negotiate and draft a wide variety of agreements, policies and processesPoint of contact for internal clients and external parties across relevant portfoliosDevelop relationships with key stakeholders and their teamsEnhance and maintain template documentsLiaise with external advisorsProvide training where requiredThis is your chance to make a real impact in the education sector.
