A fantastic opportunity for a Sydney-based construction lawyer with a minimum of 2+ years PQE has arisen to join a leading Australian organisation. The role will involve supporting the senior legal counsel in the management of legal issues within the company as part of a supportive, collaborative and highly experienced legal team.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing a variety of legal documentation.
Supporting the bid team with contract negotiations.
Assisting in creating special contract conditions for successful projects, including for subcontracts, consultancy agreements and supply agreements.
Negotiating consultancy and supplier agreements.
Identifying legal-commercial risks.
Keeping the business updated on the latest legal legislation.
Profile
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years PQE in construction law.
Experience in reviewing legal documentation.
Experience in supporting contract negotiations.
Ability to create special contract conditions for various agreements.
Negotiation skills for consultancy and supplier agreements.
Capability to identify legal-commercial risks.
Knowledge of current legal legislation.
