About the role This is an outstanding opportunity to join this award winning legal team as Legal Counsel, initially on a 12 month contract but with a view to permanency.
Working closely with a team of high performing, experienced lawyers in the Melbourne office , you will support your business stakeholders through a wide range of complex and exciting products and commercial arrangements, advise on risk and strategy as well as be a key legal support on a range of areas such as competition and marketing, IP/IT, regulatory matters, corporate, privacy etc.
Skills & Experience Corporate & Commercial Lawyers with 2-5 years PQE will be considered.
However, it is essential that at least part of your legal experience is gained from a large, national or top tier Australian law firm .
Also essential,is your appetite to work in an advisory capacity , not purely transactional.
Experience in regulatory compliance, corporate/commercial, consumer and competition law, privacy/data will be highly valued Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and ever-changing environment Ability and enthusiasm to be a key legal lead & advisor across the business Outstanding interpersonal skills, confidence and sharp business acumen.
