An opportunity now exists for an Experienced Legal Assistant to contribute to the delivery of high quality legal support, assisting our Projects team in Brisbane.
You will be working closely with a Partner and team of market leading lawyers on matters for high profile clients, delivering exceptional performance to enable the team to provide outstanding client service. We are looking for a talented legal assistant who can be proactive and work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong initiative for providing an exceptional service.
Key responsibilities:
Strong organisational and matter management skills, including diary and email management
Excellent attention to detail
Proficient in responding to emails and liaising directly with clients and contacts
Good understanding of billing processes and matter management and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to oversee monthly billing and complex billing requirements
Ability to manage scheduling of team meetings, training, events and functions
Good judgement with problem solving skills
Required skills and experience:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision
Advanced knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of CMS Aderant or other finance related software
Advanced knowledge of NetDocuments or other document management software
