The Presbyterian Theological College is seeking a faithful Christian, academically able in the discipline of historical and systematic theology and with experience in pastoral oversight, who can help students understand the doctrines of Scripture and how those doctrines have been understood by the Church.
The Lecturer will have a role in leading the Presbyterian Church of Victoria as it engages with theological and ministry issues.
The position has an emphasis on producing research publication outputs at world-class level or above, typically on a per semester basis.
Position Qualifications:The Lecturer must be qualified at research doctoral level and should be a minister in full standing with the Presbyterian Church of Australia, or willing to satisfy the requirements of the General Assembly of Australia relative to the reception of ministers from other churches, or similarly able to provide theological and spiritual leadership as a teacher of the Church, including in conducting worship services.
The successful candidate must embrace and actively promote the Reformed faith as embodied in the confessional standard of the Presbyterian Church of Australia.
