YOU . Come shape our future with us and make a real and lasting impact across our teams.
Your opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to connect your skills to purpose? Do you want to be part of a caring and collaborative team that plays an integral role, building capability and encouraging life-long learning across the Enterprise?
The Learning and Capability Team are seeking a talented Learning Partner with a focus across the HSW, Risk & Compliance portfolio. You will work closely with our Risk & Resilience Leaders and Experience Partners to support ongoing performance learning solutions that complement and strengthen our workforce. Specifically, identifying areas for improvement through collaboration, and designing and implementing contemporary learning and development programs that empower our people and ensure safety continues to be our top priority!
About you:
At UU, we celebrate diversity. We genuinely believe that bringing together diversity of thought and perspective is key and crucial to our success as a business. You might find you meet some, but not all, of the job requirements for this role. We'd still encourage you to apply as we're looking for the right human being for this role - it's about so much more than ticking all the boxes! Ideally, we are seeking someone who has:
Previous experience in a learning partner role or similar
Previous experience in developing comprehensive training programs with a human-centred design approach
Strong knowledge of the latest industry trends, legislation changes, and best practices in health, safety, and wellbeing
Proven ability to conduct comprehensive training needs analyses to identify knowledge and skills gaps for now and in the future
Strong proficiency in data analytics for creating insightful, data-driven reports and presentations
Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and methodologies and the ability to apply these when designing or supporting the delivery of health, safety and wellbeing learning programs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse teams
Experience in partnering with key stakeholders to develop and implement training programs that support our Health Safety and Wellbeing initiatives.
Tertiary study in Training, Education, Human Resources, WHS or other relevant field (or equivalent work experience)
At the core of our work lies genuine care: for our team, our customers, communities, and the environment. From the flush of a toilet to major infrastructure projects and residential developments, we're dedicated to being there every step of the way.
Why Urban Utilities?
At Urban Utilities, the work we do is about so much more than the bottom line. We're a leading provider of world-class drinking water and wastewater services to the vibrant communities of Brisbane, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Somerset, and Scenic Rim.
As part of the Learning & Capability team, you will have variety in your working environment and the flexibility to work where it makes best sense. Whether you're working from head office in Fortitude Valley or from home, you'll also have the opportunity to visit the beautiful regions and various sites we operate from, working collaboratively with our teams at the frontline!
As we continue to grow, we're committed to planning ahead and shaping a sustainable future around water for generations to come.
We know the chance to thrive, and progress comes hand in hand with the support to balance work with life. So, you'll access an increasingly diverse range of benefits and initiatives that'll help you bring the best you. Speaking of which, here's just a sample of the benefits we offer our team:
18 weeks of paid parental leave, 15 days personal leave including two proactive wellbeing days, and an additional day of leave each year to connect with friends and family
Flexibility at UU depends on the type of work you do but could include options such as, 9-day fortnights and flexible days. Talk to us about what flexibility means to you!
Corporate discounts across Health insurance, technology and more
