12 Month Max Term Contract
The Learning & Development Consultant partners with key stakeholders to plan, develop and deliver innovative training solutions across MMS to assist in ensuring Learning & Development outcomes are achieved that support MMS's strategic direction. They provide assistance and guidance to leaders/managers, using their learning and development expertise on a range of Learning & Development programs and practices.
This is a senior role in the L&D team. Responsibilities can vary according to the business needs and needs of the team. They typically include:
Consult to key stakeholders to craft and deliver optimal learning and development support. Provide expert guidance to leaders/managers and L&D team colleagues regarding employees' development needs, L&D programs and practices. Provide expert guidance to MMS projects to inform their L&D design standards and implementation in MMS. Ensure learning solutions and support both align with MMS' vision, purpose, strategic priorities, capability framework, culture and values. Manage end to end L&D projects Conduct skills audit/training needs analysis as required Scope, design, develop and deliver engaging group-wide and tailored learning and development solutions, using a blended learning approach. This includes facilitation of training as required. Measure the success of these solutions to drive positive and sustained behavioural change, and ultimately sustainable performance results Use appropriate instructional design techniques to ensure learning interventions are purpose-built for MMS, applying adult learning principles and a 70:20:10 approach in the design and delivery of learning solutions, including interactive online modules. To be considered for this opportunity you will have:
Minimum 3+ years in a Learning & Development environment. Demonstrated experience in the development, design and facilitation of blended Learning & Development solutions. Knowledge of adult learning principles and learning and development best practices. Ability to build great working relationships. Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Demonstrated consulting, influencing and relationship management skills. Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas to encourage group participation and learning. Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Track record in developing L&D solutions including instructional design. What we can offer you:
