Role Leading teachers will be highly skilled classroom practitioners and undertake leadership and management roles. They are responsible for improving the skill, knowledge and performance of the teaching workforce and enhancing the curriculum program.
Responsibilities Leading Teachers at Staughton College are members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) responsible for developing, implementing and reviewing the school strategic plan.
Lead and manage school improvement within the agreed College processes. Champion the SWPBS Expectations and implement positive reinforcement systems. Provide instructional leadership and feedback to support high-quality classroom practice. Lead and develop senior teachers as a learning community. Improve student learning and wellbeing through tier one practices. Promote positive student wellbeing and engagement in the college community. Who May Apply Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in the specified curriculum area(s).
