Reporting to the Group Manager- Process, the Lead Process Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, professional and compliant process study and design deliverables using Company approved systems and procedures to agreed schedules.The tasks you'll perform:Provide proficient and accurate process design input into studies and detailed design.Work collaboratively with personnel across all disciplines and business units.Strive to continuously maintain an up-to-date knowledge of upcoming processes, designs and operating strategies.Develop and contribute to the delivery of improvement initiatives which support business priorities for continuous improvement.Assist with the development of proposals for test work, studies and detailed engineering.The expertise you'll bring:Min 7+ years post graduate proven experience in Process engineering, particularly mineral processing, flotation and/or related industries.Proven experience in preparing process deliverables including, but not limited to: mass balances, flowsheets, P&IDs, design criteria, operating costs and control philosophy.Able to interpret metallurgical testwork data and produce a concise testwork report summarising testwork outcomes and outlining the developed process flowsheet and process design criteria.Experience in evaluating tenders and providing technical recommendations for the purchase of process equipment from vendors during studies and design.Solid work experience with engineering consultancies that specialise in minerals processing.Has contributed to the development of junior process engineers by providing mentoring and feedback on a continuous basis.The benefits we'll provide:Lycopodium has a strong company culture focused on career progression and technical skill development.
