The Role Phillip Riley has partnered with a major T&D networks provider in Melbourne. After a recent restructure, our client is looking for a Lead Planning Engineer with grid connection experience to join their sub-transmission team. We are actively looking to speak with Lead Connection Planning Engineers who have the desire and passion to lead the future of the sub-transmission division, working closely with VicGrid.
The role will include:
Planning activities Network capabilities short and long-term Mentoring of engineers in the sub-transmission team Development of methods and solutions based on network security, capacity, reliability Job Title: Lead Planning Engineer

What will your day activities be: Strategic lead on planning of accommodation of large loads in a sub-transmission network Provide network planning guidelines based on analysis dynamic modelling with long term strategic approach Calculate and forecast fault levels within the sub-transmission network Coach and mentor other engineers within the team What will you bring to the team: 10+ years Network Planning experience Grid connection experience working closely with AEMO Outstanding strategic mindset Excellent coaching and mentoring skills The company also offers an excellent remuneration package, alongside a flexible working arrangement.
