Full-Time Supply Chain and Logistics Vestas Wind Australia has announced an exciting opportunity for a Lead Planner to support the maintenance of wind farms across Victoria, Australia.
This position plays a crucial role in our service process, ensuring that the wind farms operate efficiently and safely.
You will collaborate with the broader Service Scheduling team while also working independently with your site teams to deliver clear and effective planning outcomes. Region APC>Service APAC>Service Operations Support As a Service Planner, your task is to keep on setting the order of the things that will happen in service, in accordance to the processes, instructions, business rules and your best knowledge.
You manage streamlining the workload and things impacting the planning, to ensure the flow will be stable and technicians will have work to do.
Travel is required as and when required across AU. Responsibilities: Perform annual capacity plan consolidation for allocated service territories including quarterly follow up Responsible for balancing capacity between dispatchers within the allocated service territories.
Close cooperation and dialogue with Dispatchers and Capacity Planners Sub-region anchor point for: Streamlined resource management Global planning and scheduling project implementation Material and resource analytics and performance driver Regular performance reporting to management Balance all assigned territory orders to ensure minimum downtime and maximum productivity Service crew composition is up to date and adjusted to demand Tools, parts & services are planned and monitored on time before crew mobilization Crew schedules are managed on a day-to-day basis The service schedule is aligned with the obligations in service contracts On-time communication to crews, and partners is guaranteed KPIs and PPIs related to Planning & Scheduling are balanced and under control Qualifications: Bachelor in Engineering or any equivalent degree Technical understanding and planning exposure will be essential for success in this position Proficient in MS Office, SAP and Salesforce 5 years of relevant experience Competencies: Good experience in a technical service environment with a focus on Planning & Scheduling Good IT skills and experience with information processing in databases and planning tools Analytical and detailed working approach Self-organization / good time management and stress-resistant Experience in managing smaller development/improvement projects (process & systems) Technical and planning framework understanding High degree of flexibility (working in a changing environment) Interpersonal skills High communications skills System user of MS Office, SAP and Salesforce Supervisory experience will be looked upon favourably.
