As a result of an exciting, organisation-wide technology transformation, they are seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect that will play a large role in the development and implementation of their architecture strategy.
About the RoleReporting to the Manager – Architecture and Data, the Lead Enterprise Architect will be instrumental in the success of this transformation, by leading the design and implementation of the future state enterprise architecture of the organisation.
A high level summary of the key responsibilities:
Lead the technology architecture strategy design and delivery across multiple disciplinesEnsure the use of enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks to derive and deliver value to the businessDevelop and implement architectural governance and assurance systems and processes to ensure that technology direction and delivery process optimise digital investmentsDevelop and maintain domain technology strategy and roadmapsProvide support to all aspects of the project life cycle from ideation through to deliveryAbout YouThe ideal candidate for this opportunity will be able to challenge and think laterally, particularly regarding best architecture practice and methodology.
It will also be looked upon favourably to have considerable stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally with consulting partners.
In addition to this, experience in the following areas will be essential:
Significant experience in leading the architecture function of large enterprise-wide transformation programsProven conceptual, business analysis and problem-solving skills including the ability to gather and interpret a fact-base of business, technical and financial information to inform planning, options and meaningful business insightsCertification on architecture frameworks (minimum TOGAF 9.x, familiarity with other frameworks desirable)Working knowledge of data structures, design, architectural and integration patterns, algorithms, and engineering best practicesProven experience developing EA plans and roadmaps, and technology blueprintsPractical application of architectural methodologies and frameworks, Salesforce knowledge a bonusFor more information regarding this role, please reach out to Liam McBean on
