About the Team
YMCA Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) Early Learning Service is a purpose-built centre located on the rooftop of the hospital's carpark, with state-of-the-art facilities.
We deliver a play-based learning curriculum that teaches children about the world, others, and themselves. We support children to be confident, creative, and inquisitive learners.
Situated just 15 minutes north of Caloundra, our Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) Early Learning Centre provides essential care and education predominantly to the children of hospital staff.
About the role
As Lead Educator, you will guide the Educators to provide a creative environment full of discoveries for children's growth and development. Responsibilities include:
Develop, plan, and implement quality programs for children.
Assist the Centre Director in day-to-day operations.
Work with each child, considering their cultural background.
Support a workplace that fosters diversity.
Ensure safety and health for yourself and others.
