The successful candidate will join our civil law team ideally with experience in Estate Planning. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and practical skills including:
Drafting of deeds, powers and estate planning
Corporate, Trust and Superannuation structures
Relevant state and federal taxes
Administration of estates
They will also be able to demonstrate they are capable of:
Carriage of multiple commercial transactional matters from start to finish.
Build and maintain client relationships.
Business Development Activities; and
Leadership.
Skills:
Teamwork and role coordination is a must.
Someone who is passionate about the law. You want to advocate for and protect your clients.
Good Microsoft Office skills (Word and Outlook) as well as the ability to learn and operate within a legal information system.
A high capacity for verbal and written communication.
Strong ability to prioritise tasks, be organised and able to meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and problem solving.
Use of initiative to find solutions yet ask for help when needed.
The Role:
With a strong focus on keeping to regular business hours, you will be looking for a more sensible pace of work with a dedicated clerk and an office big enough for your client consultations.
