About the role
This position might be described as an expert Paralegal or Law Clerk with some law training but not an attorney.

Position: Law - Paralegal Location: Docklands Office, Melbourne Duration: 12-months casual contract Qualifications/Requirements: Research skills, legal administration skills, organization, planning, and attention to detail. Main Functions Provides legal support to assigned attorneys or projects by conducting research, organizing files, scheduling depositions and maintaining records. Researches various states' requirements for licensing and certification requirements and prepares documents as needed. Coordinates and gathers input across multiple corporate disciplines including: Accounting, HR, Risk Management and Procurement. Maintains files/database to ensure no lapses in certifications. Supports on-going projects and monitor compliance with contract requirements/certifications. Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position. Able to supervise other junior paralegals if needed.
