Sydney NSW $81,826 - $90,110 a year About the role
This temporary (12 month) fulltime position is responsible for the provision of landscaping and arboricultural advice to assist in the processing of Development Applications and the issuing of Tree Permits . On a daily basis you will:

Assess and negotiate landscaping and arboricultural solutions relating to the development process including recomending development consent conditions
Process tree Permit Applications
Investigate and represent Council in legal matters
Issue notices, orders and Penalty infringement notices

About the person
The successful candidate should have 2-3 years previous experience as a Landscape/Tree management officer in an organisation with similar diversity as the City of Parramatta. A applicants must have:

A Degree in Horticulture, Landscape design/Landscape Architecture, and or
A Diploma Landscape Design or Arboriculture

We are offering an attractive salary range from $81,826 - $90,110 p.a. plus Super. City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which can be accessed by the successful candidate.
Participation in Council’s Motor Vehicle Scheme will be discussed with the successful applicant.
