Our client specialises in delivering reliable energy services through innovative transmission solutions, driving the transition to a sustainable energy future.They are seeking a Land Access Lead to support their expanding portfolio of transmission network projects across Victoria and beyond.This role offers a significant opportunity for an experienced land access professional to lead strategic land negotiations, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact transmission projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage land access negotiations for transmission projects, ensuring timely acquisition of required easements and land rights.Develop and implement land access strategies to support the planning, development, and construction of transmission infrastructure.Engage with landowners, local communities, and key stakeholders to negotiate land access agreements.Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.Manage the preparation and execution of access agreements, licences, and compensation arrangements.Oversee stakeholder consultation processes, addressing concerns and maintaining positive relationships with affected parties.Collaborate with legal, planning, and project delivery teams to ensure alignment of land access activities with project timelines and objectives.Support project development by identifying land-related risks and developing mitigation strategies.Monitor and manage land acquisition budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of land access services.Provide expert advice on land use constraints, property valuations, and compensation principles.Contribute to the development of land access policies, processes, and best practices.Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to land acquisition and stakeholder engagement.Assist in dispute resolution processes, representing the company in negotiations and mediations as required.Report on land access progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management and project stakeholders.Maintain accurate records and documentation related to land access activities and agreements.Qualifications and Experience:Tertiary qualification in Land Management, Property, Law, Planning, or a related discipline.Extensive experience (5+ years) in land access, acquisition, and stakeholder management within the infrastructure or energy sectors.Proven track record in negotiating complex land agreements for transmission or other large-scale infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, land use planning, and environmental regulations related to land acquisition.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage sensitive stakeholder relationships.Experience working with regulatory bodies and government agencies on land access matters.Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams and manage external consultants.Strong analytical skills with a focus on strategic problem-solving and risk management.Proficiency in project management and budgeting.Australian working rights are mandatory; sponsorship is not available for this position.Benefits:Highly competitive remuneration and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.Flexible working arrangements, including remote work options.Collaborative work environment with a focus on innovation and sustainability.Involvement in landmark projects that shape Australia's energy future.How to Apply:CV detailing relevant experience and achievements.Cover letter providing a list of land access projects you have delivered, including your role and outcomes.Contact:Ivan Pignataro | DirectorD'Arcy WeilM: 0416 507 856E: ****** for Overseas Applicants: Australian working rights are required for this position; sponsorship is not available.
