The Laboratory Technical Assistant (Ballistics) handles both routine and non-routine analysis of materials and products, ensuring their work meets quality standards.
This role is mainly based at the Mulwala Ballistics Range but may require work at other Thales facilities occasionally.
YOUR ROLE Identifying sample types and preparing for testing.
Performance of ballistic testing in accordance with authorised procedures/processes Preparation and maintenance/calibration Record data and results to required standards.
Other related duties as assigned.
YOUR EXPERIENCE Minimum year 12 in Chemistry or equivalent (highly desirable).
Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and E-mail Experience in a laboratory environment Ability to work in a team environment WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO APPLY After you have applied, you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
