Position : Permanent - Part Time Location : Preston VIC 3072 Salary : $85,120 - $91,586 Based on level of experience, plus super The Organisation The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia.

About the role The Koorie Connect program offers information, advice, and casework for clients with complex needs in Melbourne's Northern metropolitan area.
The Caseworker provides phone, office visits, and outreach support, aiming to deliver holistic, wrap-around services.
This includes assessing client goals, developing a plan, and connecting them with the right services.
About You Provide intensive casework, including assessment, goal setting, and advocacy, to support individuals and families in achieving their goals.
Build relationships with service providers to improve access for Aboriginal people and maintain accurate client data on CSnet.
Follow VACCA's policies and participate in meetings, team support, professional development, and other duties as directed.
Requirements: Diploma in Community Services or equivalent is highly desirable.
Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
