Key Account Manager – Business DevelopmentWho we are: When you start to think of waste as a resource, it opens up a world of possibilities. Cleanaway is the largest waste management company in Australia providing sustainable waste management solutions to a range of customers including councils, small businesses, large corporate entities and government agencies.
About the Role: As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for securing and onboarding high-volume, large-scale customers, ensuring a seamless transition before handing them over to an Account Manager. You'll drive business growth by building strategic relationships, preparing commercial documents, and managing pricing structures.
We have a variety of different Victorian Branch/office locations for you to be based at.
Key responsibilities include: Providing exceptional customer service and fostering strategic relationships.Developing and presenting various documentation, including contract documents and commercial offers.Utilising your technical skills to analyse information and manage pricing/cost structures effectively.Conducting presentations and negotiations to convert prospects into profitable new business.Report writing and analysis.About you: We are looking for someone with a passion for business development and building relationships. You'll have strong sales and presentation skills, be data-savvy, and have a proven track record of securing new business.
You will also need: Strong sales experience ideally gained from working with tier 1 customers.Experience presenting to a varied audience, with experience in managing pricing and cost structures.Experience writing and responding to tenders.Methodical and strategic thinking.Technical proficiency with various systems and data.Relationship-building skills with the ability to engage personnel at all levels.Strong communication skills with the ability to positively influence outcomes.A proven track record of converting prospects/quotes into profitable new business.Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.We are currently hiring for two positions and are specifically seeking candidates with experience from both the Waste industry and the Construction industry.
