Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way to a campus in Austin, Texas which is now home to our US operations.
What you'd be doing in this role
This role is focused on:
Own the school district lifecycle. You'll own strategy, prospecting, planning, onboarding, execution, and results within identified districts.Foster relationships with district administration. You'll manage relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at districts, providing technical documentation, onboarding help, teacher development resources, Canva tips, and strategic guidance.Serve as an ambassador of Canva for Education.Provide Value to Customers and to Canva. You'll run a healthy and predictable business that delivers a jointly agreed customer transformation strategy focused on educational outcomes.Understand the Canva user lifecycle. Establish close relationships with our community of educators and learners to know their needs for success.Identify trends and usage patterns. Utilize data analysis to shape your strategic approach to sales and account management.Drive retention and engagement. Continuously test, learn, and iterate on our lifecycle strategy at identified districts.
You're probably a match if:
Experience with the US District Education Market. You understand classroom efficiency solutions and can communicate how Canva improves student learning outcomes.Customer Success Expertise. Comfortable driving retention and fostering engagement with software solutions at a district level.Excellent Collaboration skills. Enjoy working alongside your direct team and cross-functional teams.Experience with Implementing new Technologies. Understand how schools roll out new technologies effectively.Effective Communication skills. Create clarity through communication by simplifying complex concepts.Strong Business Planning Skills. Ability to move from planning to implementation and deliver high impact projects.Experience in Community Management. Understand social media processes and tactics for educating audiences.Growth Mindset. Eager to learn and develop your skills while having fun!Fluent in French Speaking. Familiarity with Canadian School Districts is a huge plus! About the team A K-12 District Engagement Advocate at Canva is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with K-12 schools and districts. They help educators understand the benefits of using Canva's educational tools and resources, provide guidance and support for integration into curriculums, and offer ongoing training.
