Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a campus in Austin, Texas which is now home to our US operations.

What you'd be doing in this role

As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. This will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on: Activate Canva for Education usage at scale. You'll design and implement strategies to drive district-wide adoption, ensuring educators and students are equipped to incorporate Canva for Education into their teaching and learning.Create impactful outreach initiatives. You'll develop and execute scalable, one-to-many engagement efforts—such as webinars, email campaigns, and resources—that highlight the value Canva brings to districts, empowering school leaders, teachers, and students to achieve their educational goals and enhance classroom experiences through its effective use.Leverage data to provide targeted support. You'll analyze usage data to identify trends, uncover opportunities for growth, and deliver meaningful resources to districts that enhance their Canva for Education experience.Implement playbooks and campaigns. You'll create and execute strategic playbooks and engagement campaigns to efficiently activate and support a high volume of districts at scale.Design engaging resources with Canva. You'll confidently use Canva to create compelling, visually appealing resources and materials that support district leaders, educators, and students in their adoption journey.Think creatively to meet district needs. You'll proactively explore new approaches to address the unique challenges and goals of districts, designing campaigns and solutions that drive engagement and meaningful outcomes.You're probably a match if Experience with the US District Education Market. You understand classroom efficiency solutions and can communicate with Instructional Technology Specialists and teachers on how Canva can improve student learning outcomes through design and collaboration.Customer Success Expertise. You are comfortable driving retention and fostering engagement with software solutions at a district level.Experience with Marketing Campaigns. You have a strong understanding of how to design and execute marketing campaigns tailored to the needs of educators and students, driving engagement and adoption.Technical Skills. You are proficient with digital tools and platforms, and you're eager to learn and adopt new technologies to better engage with customers and support their needs.Excellent Collaboration Skills. You enjoy working alongside your direct team as well as with cross-functional teams.Experience with Implementing New Technologies. You have a deep understanding of how schools roll out new technologies and how district-wide deployments are most effective.Effective Communication Skills. You create clarity through your communication by making complex things simple. You can confidently present your ideas and tell a compelling story to customers and the broader team.Canva Design Skills. You have hands-on experience using Canva to create engaging, visually compelling resources and materials that drive creativity and enhance the impact of your projects.Strong Business Planning Skills. You have the ability to move from planning all the way through to implementation and complete projects that deliver high impact.Growth Mindset. You're eager to learn and develop your skills while having fun along the way!About the team A K-12 District Engagement Advocate at Canva is a key member of our team who is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with K-12 schools and districts across the country. They are passionate about education and have a deep understanding of the needs of K-12 educators.
Our Digital District Engagement Advocates focus on activating districts that already have access to Canva for Education. They create and implement scalable strategies to engage with district leaders and educators, empowering them to integrate Canva into their teaching and learning. By developing impactful campaigns, resources, and events—such as webinars and email outreach—they ensure districts have the tools, inspiration, and guidance needed to embed Canva into classrooms effectively and at scale.

They are dedicated to helping educators create engaging and dynamic learning experiences that inspire and motivate students to succeed.
