Utilise your Administrative expertise to provide support and advice to Broadmeadows Justice Service CentreA Fixed-Term, Full-Time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service for 12 monthsAbout the Role: The Justice Officer role is to deliver friendly, efficient customer service to clients of the Department of Justice and Community Safety who report to the Broadmeadows Justice Service Centre.
As part of the role you will also provide consistent, timely and accurate administrative support to regional locations and staff.
The position is based at the Broadmeadows Justice Service Centre.
However, it is an expectation of the role that the successful applicant is willing to support at other locations across the North Metro (Coolaroo, Reservoir, South Morang, Tullamarine, and Thomastown).
A driver's license is therefore preferred but not essential.
Some of your duties may include:
Accountabilities differ depending on the work locationProvide a range of high quality and efficient front of house administrative services, such as Consumer Affairs or Births, Deaths and Marriages enquiries and applications, and other services relevant to the locationProvide information and assistance to clients, internal and external stakeholders and the public including the collation, review and processing of applicationsUndertake a range of administrative functions including word processing, data input and management and the maintenance of various records, registers and returnsGreet and liaise with clients and stakeholders and provide accurate advice and information in relation to Justice Services in accordance with business processes.About You: As our ideal candidate for this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
