We, at Flywire, are seeking aPayment Operations Associate, Insuranceto be part of the team providing finance and operational support for the international payments and health insurance businesses.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Posts financial data to appropriate accounts in the company's accounting systemEnters, updates, and/or retrieves accounting data from systemsReconciles transactions, financial data, and other information to the company's accounting systemManagement of accounting software (NetSuite)Assist with financial statement preparation and providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirementsTax classification and preparation of BAS reportingMaintaining internal control systemsVerifies policies billed against applications received and reconciles differences through follow-up with the provider and/or other employeesInsurance renewals and extensionsHandles reconciliations, refunds, commissions as well as daily, weekly & monthly payments.Banking, invoicing and credit card reconciliationCompliance verification and reportingAnswering emails and help-desk tickets regarding customers' needsAd-hoc research activitiesHere's What We're Looking For: 3+ years relevant experience in an insurance, accounting, operations or customer support focused position.
