The Junior Data Scientist will work within the data team at Sparro to support the development of attribution models to measure the incremental impact of digital above the line activities, and cutting-edge machine learning models to aid in decision making for our largest clients.
This role will utilise best-in-class data solutions to drive client and business success.
The Junior Data Scientist will build, support, and adopt productisation of advanced data project offerings and processes within Sparro.
Responsibilities Research, develop and run machine learning models as part of clients' data project offeringManage, manipulate and automate production of complex data sets in a true big data environment leveraging skills in Google BigQuery, R, Python and SQLDrive client and business success through implementation of appropriate machine learning-led models and effective management of data science projectsKeeping abreast of latest developments of data science models within the industryCreating and maintaining documentation and use cases for data solutionsCommunicating with internal and external teams, give support in the whole execution processHave an understanding of digital marketing strategy and conceptsHave an understanding of tracking using tools such as GTMPromote the Sparro values and cultureYou live for results, drive change, and expect only the best.

You've worked with a variety of clients and are looking to build successful senior stakeholder relationships.

Skills 1 year of experience in data science roles, or Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Science disciplineProficiency in Python, R, BigQuery and advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics and Facebook AdsKnowledge of a range of Machine Learning, Data Science or Statistical Modelling techniques such as Predictive Modelling, Linear / Logistic Regression, Attribution Modelling, Causal Impact Analysis, Customer Segmentation and Shopping BandingProficiency in Google Tag Manager and tag setup for clients (not essential)Strong attention to detail, and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT Autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced business environmentAlign projects with digital marketing concepts, overall Sparro strategy and market requirements.Create and research data science solutions for Sparro clients according to their business problemImprove company-wide knowledge on proper utilisation of modelling techniques into channel activationsEffectively solve problems using data, working with the data and insights teamWHAT TO EXPECT Continuous learning is a huge part of our workplace culture.

The Data Scientist will work in a cluster, with regular mentoring sessions from their Team Lead and other senior leaders.
