At Ernest Henry, you can choose what suits your priorities. Work an attractive fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) roster from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville or a drive-in/drive-out (DIDO) roster and take advantage of our top-class camp, or live local in the close-knit community of Cloncurry and be home every night. This roster is 8/6 (days) - 7/7 (nights) and a 12 hour day.

About the role Reporting to the Supervisor - Development, this critical operational role involves operating Sandvik DD422 and DD422i Jumbos. You'll be responsible for drilling blast holes and executing essential ground support tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
Installation of ground support as per PPD design using MDX, Mesh, Par 1 Resin, Split Set bolts. Read and understand Primary Development Designs. Read and understand mining survey memos. All aspects of Development mining, Level development, Decline and Incline, Turnouts etc. Mine to line and grade with less than 10% overbreak. Perform thorough pre-start checks on all equipment and report all damages. Ensure all work performed and Housekeeping is kept to a high standard. Ensure that work quality is high and that all controls are used and adhered to. Operate heavy diesel equipment and cleaning. Complying with and undertaking additional / alternative responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the Supervisor. About You You will bring previous Jumbo operations experience in bolting and boring. You will have Development Jumbo and Bogger operations competencies, a current C Class Driver's License, and certifications in Working at Heights and IT operations. Your knowledge of and experience with all aspects of mine development Jumbo operations, coupled with your strong safety awareness and mechanical aptitude, will be key to your success in this role.
