Labrys is seeking a full-time junior developer to join our team. Based in Brisbane, Labrys is the largest Web3 development agency that helps clients leverage blockchain technology across various use cases and industries. We conceptualise, design, and build entire systems, including the web and mobile applications that support them.
Salary Range: $60,000-$85,000 (based on experience)

About the role As a junior developer at Labrys, you will be on the path to becoming a Full Stack Developer with expertise in TypeScript and the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js), along with Next.js. You will join an experienced team working on a variety of client projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Analyzing Requirements: Designing applications using blockchain technology to solve complex and exciting challenges.
Building and Launching: Creating blockchain applications and smart contracts.
You will ensure these components and the overall solutions are robust and easy to maintain. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the team and clients, emphasising collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and high product quality.
Core responsibilities End-to-End Development: Build functional web applications using MERN stack, TypeScript and Next.js.
RESTful Services: Create RESTful services with Node.js.
Quality Assurance: Create unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of code.
Responsiveness: Be responsive to change requests and feature requests.
Cross-Platform Compatibility: Write code that is cross-platform and cross-device compatible.
The ideal candidate will have Technical Expertise: Experience in TypeScript and the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) or similar technologies.
API Integration: Experience creating and integrating systems using REST APIs.
Blockchain Interest: Interest in blockchain and smart contract technologies.
Self-Motivated: A self-starter excited to solve technical challenges relentlessly.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Time Management: Ability to manage your own time effectively.
Team Player: Capable of working well both independently and as part of a team.
