About the Roles We are looking for motivated workers to join our Field Services teams for current and future opportunities within our parks and sports field maintenance crews.
Each team consists of a small crew, led by the Leading Hand and overseen by the Supervisor.
As part of the team, you will help maintain areas such as Queens Park and Robelle Domain, local parks, sporting fields, open green spaces, roadsides, and footpaths.
An average day includes tasks such as mowing, mulching, blowing, brush cutting, and other minor landscaping duties.
Working in our teams, you will be highly visible around the city and often engage with members of the public so your positive attitude and being a team player is essential.

To be successful in these roles, you will have: C Class drivers' licence MR Class licence an advantage A safety-first attitude The ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit A passion for enhancing the quality of life for our community Flexibility and adaptability to handle various tasks and challenges Basic knowledge of landscaping and maintenance equipment A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn A pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol testing) will be required for these roles and other pre-employment checks could include a respirator FIT test, Q Fever immunisation, obtainment of a Construction Induction Card.
