Italian Speaking Volunteer

When you become an Anglicare Volunteer you are joining a team who brightens people's lives every day.
We are looking for a male volunteer to visit an Italian-speaking resident who lives at our Home in Dapto.
Through having a chat, perhaps sitting and holding someone's hand or having a cuppa in the village café, this is an opportunity to learn about and give back to an older generation.
Visiting roles are available and flexible across the week.
Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care CommitmentRegular - more than 6 months
TrainingAnglicare orientation [soft copy booklet] & other modules on Cornerstone - Anglicare's training website.
Volunteer Orientation, Infection Control, and Covid Safe Training provided.
Time requiredApprox 1 hour weekly or fortnightly.
RequirementsNDIS police check at Service NSW + NDIS online training module [duration 80 mins] are needed for the completion of your application.
