Possible opportunity for remote work.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and direct ICT strategies, policies, and plans aligned with business objectives.Analyse business needs and specify appropriate technology solutions.Stay updated on industry trends and recommend new technologies.Oversee the selection, procurement, and installation of IT resources.Oversee IT service delivery, ensuring efficiency and service level adherence.Ensure IT systems are secure and protected from cyber threats.Manage day-to-day IT operations, including system development, maintenance, and updates.Address operational obstacles and develop contingency plans.Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, setting goals and conducting evaluations.Provide coaching and mentorship for professional development.Manage IT service vendor relationships and negotiate contracts and SLAs.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to align IT and business goals.Provide business analysis for IT projects and ensure business needs are met.Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices, and establish and enforce IT governance and compliance.Manage IT budgets and optimise resource allocation.Monitor and report on IT-related expenditures.Adapt to changing business needs, supporting various functions as necessary.Provide strategic IT advice to support business growth and objectives.Qualification & ExperienceA Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field and/or equivalent experience/training.You must be a respected IT leader, with at least 5 years of experience in IT operations and management, with a focus on service delivery.Must have a thorough understanding of cloud-delivered IT systems and infrastructure services and as-a-service delivery models.Must have outstanding skills and experience in vendor management and negotiation.Proven experience in implementing IT policies and procedures appropriate to the needs of a dynamic, growing organisation.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred to have experience in, or be ready to learn Google Suite, Asana, Miro, Salesforce, and more.About CompanyYou will play a critical role in shaping our technology infrastructure, driving innovation, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems.
