About the role The IT Governance Lead is vital in managing and coordinating line one audit, risk, compliance, and governance activities for the Digital, Technology, and Payments Division, to ensure our operations align with industry standards and regulatory requirements and support the delivery of our new strategy.
Reporting to the Chief Digital and Technology Officer, the IT Governance Lead will develop and maintain the Bank's IT governance framework, embed and mature our enterprise architecture capability and ITIL-based change, incident, and problem management processes, chair our Change and Architecture Advisory Board, facilitate risk and compliance engagements, oversee controls testing, manage third-party security risk, lead key initiatives and projects, and run agile ceremonies. You will also be responsible for facilitating and creating detailed divisional reporting for senior management and Board, championing IT across the business, and supporting continuous improvement within the division.
About you To be successful in this role you will have:
A minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in Banking and/or Financial Services. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as IT or finance. The ability to review, analyse, prioritise, and escalate issues as necessary. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with experience in writing reports and presenting to stakeholders. High-level interpersonal, organisational and time management skills. Well-developed problem-solving, with the ability to influence and negotiate. Exposure to agile principles, methodologies, and tools.
